Oath of Blossoms: A YukaMitsu Zine is a fanzine focused on the blossoming nature and growth of the relationship between Yukari Takeba and Mitsuru Kirijo from Persona 3.

○ What is a zine? A zine is an unofficial collaborative publication of creative work (typically artwork and writing), sometimes accompanied by physical or digital merchandise.○ What is the nature of this zine? The zine will be free and digital, possibly with digital merchandise. It will be 16+ so we will allow themes of blood and light horror content, however, NSFW (explicit sexual content, extreme gore) is forbidden.○ Are AUs allowed? Yes.○ How many contributors will participate? We are currently looking for 25 page artists (including spot artists, comic artists), 8 writers (including fic writers, comic writers), and 5 merch artists. These numbers are tentative and subject to change upon considering the interest check results.○ Is traditional art allowed? Yes, as long as you can provide a high quality scan.○ Can I apply for multiple roles? Yes, but you will only be accepted for one.○ What method of contact will be used? Discord will be used to notify contributors of updates and announcements. General Guidelines
○ You must be at least 16 years old by the time application results are sent out on 8th January.
○ Applying for multiple roles is allowed, but you will only be accepted for one role.
○ AI-generated/assisted work is forbidden.
○ Link 3 samples and/or a portfolio with at least 3 finished pieces polished to the quality you expect to demonstrate in the zine.
○ Provide accessible links - we will not be personally reaching out to applicants in the case of damaged links. These can be shared Google drive folders, Carrds, Ao3, etc. as long as they are accessible.
○ Ensure you have tagged works in your extended portfolio appropriately, such as tagging any NSFW works in an Ao3 portfolio. Do not include NSFW works as samples.
○ Works featuring YukaMitsu/Persona 3 are highly recommended although not required. We ask that you have played Persona 3 The Journey.
○ You may submit a possible pitch during the application process. This is not strictly required nor will it affect your application, but it is encouraged.

Artist Guidelines
○ At least one sample should contain a relatively detailed background, whether that may be a scene or abstract detail.
○ Your samples and/or portfolio should include fully finished pieces (full colour) and your best work.
○ Different artstyles will be accounted for.
○ Page artists will be evaluated on anatomy (realism and stylisation), use of colour, composition, backgrounds, lighting/shading, and stylistic choices.
○ Comic Artists: at least one sample should be a comic. Comic artists will be evaluated on anatomy (realism and stylisation), use of colour, composition + panelling, perspective, text legibility, flow, and stylistic choices.
○ Digital Merch Artists: at least one sample should be digital merch. If you have not designed any before, please provide examples that would be suitable for digital merch. Digital merch artists will be evaluated on use of colour, composition, design, linework.

Writer Guidelines
○ Please keep all samples between 1000 and 3000 words.
○ File samples (excluding works on publicly accessible sites such as AO3 or fanfiction.net) should be formatted to be easily read and in a suitable font, preferably sans serif. Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and PDF are accepted file types.
○ At least one sample should be a complete, standalone short work.
○ You may submit excerpts of longer works. The general plot should be able to be understood without further context.
○ It is highly encouraged to submit works with Yukari and/or Mitsuru.
○ Writers will be evaluated on plot, characterisation, pacing, spelling, punctuation, grammar, syntax, and style.
